About the Founder

Dr Kasagga Ashraf is a Ugandan medical doctor and the Founder and Developer of Medical Opportunities Hub Uganda (MOHU). He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), 2025. Alongside his medical career, he has an interest in technology, innovation and the use of digital solutions to address practical challenges within the health sector.

The Inspiration

The idea for MOHU grew from recognizing the difficulties people often experience when trying to access relevant opportunities and useful information within Uganda’s health sector. This inspired him to develop a platform that could make access more organized, convenient and useful.

A Continuing Journey

Dr Kasagga Ashraf continues to guide the development and improvement of MOHU, with an emphasis on listening to users, identifying practical needs and progressively strengthening the platform.
