Opportunity Description
Whisper Hospital, Kyanja - Kampala is looking for a qualified, experienced and compassionate Midwife to join the maternity team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant should be clinically confident, responsible and passionate about providing safe and respectful care to mothers and newborn babies.
Requirements
Professional registration / licence
Valid professional registration and practising licence in Uganda.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in Midwifery. Valid professional registration and practising licence in Uganda. Good knowledge of antenatal, labour, delivery and postnatal care. Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn emergencies. Ability to calculate and administer medications and dosages safely. Good infection prevention and patient safety practices. Warm, welcoming and compassionate approach towards patients. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, professional and willing to learn. Previous maternity experience is an advantage.
