Opportunity Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide primary and emergency clinical care, manage illnesses and coordinate referrals.
2. Lead JMAT Clinic operations, supplies, equipment and infection prevention.
3. Supervise and mentor medical personnel.
4. Conduct occupational health and fitness-for-duty assessments.
5. Support emergency preparedness, outbreak response and medical evacuations.
6. Promote staff wellness and preventive healthcare.
7. Undertake field medical missions and assess health risks.
8. Maintain confidential records and service reports.
Requirements
REQUIRED
1. Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent).
2. Current unrestricted medical registration/licence.
3. Minimum five years of progressive medical experience, including practice in developing or conflict-affected settings.
4. Experience in operational healthcare and relevant emergency, occupational, travel or tropical medicine.
5. Fluency in English.
DESIRABLE
1. Postgraduate training in a related medical or public health discipline.
2. BLS/ACLS or equivalent.
3. UN or international NGO experience.
4. Clinical team and facility management experience.
